I had fun playing throughout this demo the combat felt smooth and there were a lot of abilities already that when mastered I'm sure would be very fun. I wasn't too great at using them all together effectively but it was still fun. Cool to see that there were different dialogue options so you choose what kind of personality your character has. The controls were somewhat hard because I'm not used to just using the keybuttons and no mouse I'm sure they work out well with practice so I decided to switch to my Xbox controls. They felt a lot easier I just still wasn't used to the linear controls of the Crosspad directional movement. Implementing a joystick control option would definitely help at least for me. There was a lot of skill put into the pixel art of this game because it looked great. The first obstacle I guess you could say was the red spike part when you jump on the top left of the screen and take you to that moving dungeon. That part was difficult but more in annoying way because of the timing of the spikes when you kill the last enemy of the wave it doesn't let u go down immediately it seems to pause for a second while the red spikes are coming down still and I died to that a lot it just felt dumb sometimes. But I eventually got it and got the crimson armor which was a cool little reward. And finally, the last part where I fought the boss felt fast-paced and exciting learning the best times to attack and shoot the white thingy. Now, where it gets interesting is during his second phase was hard as hell lol cuz of having to wall climb and kill the first two enemies and run back and forth while the boss chases you it's definitely a challenge id say the game overall is a decently hard game harder than most id say at least so far (or maybe I'm just not used to these type of games most similar I played to this was hollow knight). Not gonna lie I cheesed the boss in the second phase because it was just too hard for me to simultaneously wall run and jump around while hitting the boss at the same time haha, but I'm sure with enough tries I could've done it how it was supposed to. But the way I cheesed the boss was after killing the first guy up top id just hold the wall run on the right corner and dodge whenever the boss dashed towards me and hit him as many times as I could. Overall was a fun play and id be willing to try it again in the future.
